Booking Terms and Conditions
Booking Periods
High Season - Dec 15 - April 30
Low Season- May 1 - Dec 15
Peak Periods- Christmas- New Year, Trinidad Carnival, Easter, July- August, Tobago Carnival ( Oct 20 -30)

For confirmed Flexible Check in and Check out a copy your Ticket to Tobago must be sent to our Property Manager.

Arrival & Departure

Guests will be personally greeted upon arrival at the property.
​
Check-In
Early Check in

Where early check-in is approved, a member of our team will be present at the property at the agreed time, at no additional charge, to facilitate your arrival.

If you are unable to arrive at the scheduled time, please notify us in advance. Failure to do so may result in a fee of $200 TTD or your check-in being rescheduled to our standard check-in time of 3:00 PM.

In the event of flight or ferry delays, kindly inform us as soon as possible.​

Late Check-In (After 9:00 PM)

Check-ins after 9:00 PM must be arranged in advance and are subject to staff availability.

If late check in is out of guests control such as delay of flight or ferry please inform management immediately.

If no notice was given and guest arrives after 9 pm a fee of 300 TTD will be applied.

Transportation
-
Transportation can be arranged at an additional cost (taxi service or rental vehicle). This can be discussed with the Property Manager at the time of booking.
Check-In Procedure

A walkthrough of the apartment will be conducted with the booking guest prior to handing over the keys to confirm that all items are in proper working condition.

Departure
-
Check-out time is 11:00 AM unless otherwise arranged.

Guests are asked to be fully dressed and ready at the agreed check-out time for the final inspection.

Keys will be collected upon check-out unless self check-out has been arranged in advance.​

Force Majeure
​

Neither the owners, nor our management agent, will accept or be held responsible/liable for any loss, damage, injury or changes due to force majeure (e.g. civil action, war or threat of, strikes, riots, closure of airports, delay of flights/ ferry, cancelation of flights/ ferry, rescheduling of flights/ferry, prevailing weather conditions including hurricane/tornado etc., acts of God or Governing Body of Trinidad and Tobago or any other events beyond our control).

It is strongly recommended that guests take out vacation insurance to cover cancellation fees and any other losses that may occur. Any claims for compensation loss or injury must be directed to your insurance company and will not be accepted by the owner or their Management Agent.

In the event of Force Majeure, our management team will try to assist guests within our control. Please note that no refunds will be given due to Force Majeure, but your dates can be rescheduled for use up to 1 year, subject to availability.

Pride of Courland Tobago accepts no liability for Wi-Fi or Electricity outages or downtime as this service is outsourced.

Pride of Courland Tobago accepts no liability for rough seas as this is out of our control. In the event of a rough sea bulletin or closure of beaches, management will notify guests. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND BATHING IN THE SEA DURING SAID BULLETINS. MANAGEMENT ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBLITY OR LIABILTY OR INJURY FOR GUESTS AND THIER BELONGINGS.
Guest hereby waives and releases any claims against the Property owner and their successors, assigns, employees, or representatives, officially or otherwise, for any injuries or death that may be sustained by Guest on or near or adjacent to the Property, including any common facilities, activities or amenities. Guest agrees to use any such facilities or amenities entirely at the Guest’s own initiative, risk and responsibility

Insurance

Pride of Courland Tobago is not responsible for guests safety and well-being.

We are not liable for any damage, loss or personal injury which may occur during your stay.

As with all foreign travel, it is advisable and recommended, to have relevant travel insurance cover.

All children must be supervised at all times.

Tropical Reality
​

As Tobago is a tropical island, insects and garden animals such as mosquitos, rain flies, fruit flies. garden lizards, iguanas etc are part and parcel of life. As a result, their presence in no way reflects the cleanliness of our property, and as such is neither cause for complaint nor compensation.

We recommend clearing all crumbs and food particles from the eating areas, keep all doors and windows closed when raining to try and avoid these uninvited visitors. In the unlikely event of such problems, please call the management agents who will endeavor to address the problem as soon as possible.

Guests should be aware that the hurricane season in Tobago runs from June to October. We cannot accept liability for loss of any mains services or failure of appliances. Neither do we accept responsibility for the consequences of the actions or omissions of persons who may control supply of mains services. Furthermore, we are not responsible for any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority over which the owner has no control. This includes outages of mains services caused by adverse weather conditions as all are considered changes due to force majeure.

Cancelation Policy and Transfer of Dates
Low Season :
-
Cancellation at least 40 days before the booked arrival date will result in a full refund. .

Cancellation 39 - 15 days before booked arrival date will result in the loss of the 20% down payment
-
Cancellation within 14 days of the booked arrival date will result in loss of all deposits made.

Peak Periods/ High Season:
-
Cancellation at least 60 days before the booked arrival date will result in a full refund
-
Cancellation 59 - 15 days before booked arrival date will result in the loss of the 20% down payment
-
Cancellation within 14 days of the booked arrival date will result in loss of all deposits made.

Transfer of Dates:
-
All reservations made at Pride of Courland Tobago, are transferrable with a minimum of 1 months notice for use up to 1 year from Date of Reservation.

A change fee of 300 TTD will be applied for change of dates to bookings during Christmas Season ( Dec 20- Jan 6), Easter and Carnival. Notice of 1 month must be given .

Transfer of Dates at Discount Prices or Social Media Promotions: If you wish to transfer dates at Advertised discounted Rates via Social Media Platforms will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis and is only applicable during May to June or September to November. A TRANSFER FEE OF 400 TTD will be applied. Other terms and conditions may be applied to seasonal social media discounted rates/ specials or packages.

​Incidental Charges
​
1. Any damages done to Pride of Courland’s apartments/villa and the surroundings. This includes the Electronic Main Gate, Beach Gate, Garage, Pool, Garden, Furnishings and Fittings and all contents of each apartment. This is refundable once nothing is broken or damaged in said villa or compound. It will be refunded within four (4) working days after checking out, once housekeeping is completed and subject to property being returned in good order.

2. Overcrowding or abuse of the property will result in eviction from the premises without reimbursement of rental and forfeit of incidental fee. Only guests registered during booking can stay overnight on the property. Should you have visiting guests overnighting and exceeding the apartment capacity, you will be evicted, and your rental and Incidental Fee forfeited.

3. If you decide to vacate the premises before your check out date you will be charged for the use of the property for that day or any part thereof.
​
4. Damages done by Invited Guests will be covered by booking personnel.
​
5. Any damages exceeding the Incidental Fee, WILL BE COVERED by the booking personnel.
​
This is refundable once nothing is broken or damaged in said villa or compound. It will be refunded within 2-4 business days ( once paid by Bank Transfer) and within 7 business days ( once paid by Credit Card) after check out once housekeeping is completed and subject to property being returned in good order.

We are committed to maintaining a respectful and safe environment for both our guests and staff. Any violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your stay, with no refund, and potential legal action. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a positive experience for all.
